Uttalande om Kirsten av hennes tränare, Wendy Dillinger,före detta proffsspelare i USA:
"Kirsten joined my college team this past fall after completing her studies at Lindenwood University where she initially went to play. She had one year of eligibility remaining and chose to join our program to finish her collegiate playing career. Kirsten made an immediate impact for us and was a key player in helping us advance to the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament. Kirsten played the 11 and the 3 for us. Most of her time was spent as an attacking flank player but there were crucial times when I moved her to the wing back spot because of her speed, closing ability, anticipation and ability to pick off incoming passes and then generate a counter attack. Kirsten is INCREDIBLY quick, especially with the ball. Her first touch is exceptional. She can bring a driven ball out of the air while running at speed and set it right down on the ground. She accelerates on the dribble and leaves defenders scrambling to catch her. She can create goal scoring opportunities on her own or can combine with teammates. One of the most impressive attributes she has is the ability to switch fields in one strike. She can drive the ball from one side of the field to the other quickly with precision…something that is not always seen in female players. Her power in striking on goal is among the best I have ever seen and that includes playing with the likes of Charmaine Hooper from Canada, Homare Sawa from Japan and Sun Wen from China, all who were my teammates when I played professionally in Atlanta in 2001. Kirsten has all the characteristics that cannot be taught. She has a very good technical base and a solid tactical understanding of the game. Inserted into the right system with a coach who plays a style that utilizes flank play, Kirsten can bring an element to the team that will increase team speed and the ability to stretch the opponent’s defensive shape. Kirsten is equally good with both feet and can play on either side of the field. She is definitely worth a look if there is a way to get her in front of coaches in the professional ranks overseas. She is passionate about the game and would embrace the opportunity to show what she brings to the pitch."
